👋 Hi, I am Ran
A Product, UX/UI Designer with a Master’s in Service Design, recognized as a UK Global Talent by Tech Nation. I currently work at RemarkAI, an AI-driven safety product startup company, where I lead the design of the AI Safety Platform and manage the creation and maintenance of our design system.
Before joining startups, I worked at Baidu and Lenovo. At Baidu, I was responsible for user retention and engagement on a social product with over 54 million active users. I also worked on the advertising team, where my designs contributed to a significant increase in ad revenue.
Having experience in both startup and large-scale tech environments, I adapt well to agile development while understanding the dynamics of corporate structures and cross-functional collaboration.
Outside of my work, I am passionate about using design to make a difference. I volunteer as the design director at Tianjin Tide Aid Center, a non-profit organization helping women with osteogenesis imperfecta by developing online courses and selling hand-knitted products.
I’m also the founder of “Wonderful Questions About Design,” a non-profit online UX design community with over 3,000 members, where I share knowledge and resources.
Also, I’m an avid gamer. I’ve spent countless hours in The Legend of Zelda, finding all 1,000 Korok seeds, and I love returning to Raccoon City’s police station in Resident Evil, a place that feels like home every time I revisit it.
